The Discovery Paraglide Day is the shortest lesson package offered. This package offers you approximately 4-6 hour day (depending on weather) to discover the world’s fastest growing air sport.
We start with a discussion and videos on the mechanics of paragliding.
We cover the equipment, glider control, and flight plans. After covering the basics, your instructor will perform a demonstration.
Then you have the opportunity to try a simulated ground launch with the aid of your instructor.
We practice inflating and controlling the wing, learning the launch sequence, landing, and steering skills. Then we go to do an instructional tandem flight, and this will give you the real sensation of how it is to fly like a bird in the beauty of the Arizona skyline. Price $375
